Karala Bhaji (korolla vaji-করল্লা ভাজা) – It’s really good for health, Most of the bangladeshi people likes to eat karala bhaji.. it’s kinda Bitter in taste but when it’s cooked like the recipe below it will be very tasty.

Ingredients

Ingredients to make the pur

  • 1/4 cup of fried peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds (lightly ground)
  • 1 teaspoon of chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander and cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Ingredients To make karala bhaji

  • Karala 5-6 pieces (medium or slightly smaller in size)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of whole mustard and cumin

Preparation

Preparing the pur

Grind fried nuts and sesame seeds in a grinder or batter.
Mix the rest of the ingredients with it.
Muchmuve fried karala.

Preparing the karala

Wash the karala and cut off the tip and head.
Carefully cut one side of the karala with a sharp knife. Discard the inner beech.
Now fill the inside of the coral with the quantity of almonds. (You only need to press the cut side, no need to seal)
Heat oil in a pan and continue to fry over medium heat. Invert around with a spoon. When fried, remove from the oil.
Add mustard and cumin seeds in the same oil. When brown with onion and garlic, pick it up with a spoon and put it on the fried karala.
Serve it hot.
